Courtney May

Business Development Supervisor

Originally from Ashland, Kentucky, Courtney studied ballet, tap and jazz at Ashland Regional Dance Theatre, and went on to receive her B.F.A. in Arts Management and Dance from Brenau University, where she was a member of the Brenau Dance Ensemble. She was a soloist with Gainesville Ballet, and has also danced professionally with Jeslyn Dance Gallery, where she served as ballet mistress. Courtney is the former assistant director of Ashland Regional Dance Theatre and Ashland Youth Ballet, has taught introductory to pre-professional dance at camps, workshops and public schools throughout Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia, and was the primary choreographer for several dance teams and theater troupes in her hometown.
