"Dance has so many different elements. The pearls represent years of hard work and dedication to finally form into a breathtakingly beautiful dancer, as a clam takes years to make a pearl from a grain of sand. The feathers represent the ability to appear 'floating' through the air while dancing, as well as the softness dancers must posses during each and every movement. The gold strips in the feathers represent the sparkle you will find in any dancer's eyes who truly has a passion for what he or she is doing."
