Mallory Peterson
Russian Pointe Dance Boutique
Mallory holds a B.A. in dance from Columbia College Chicago, where she focused on modern dance and ballet and had the opportunity to study with visiting international dance companies. A native of the Chicago area, Mallory trained with Primadonna Dance Academy, the School of Performing Arts, Lou Conte Dance Studio, and most recently with Athletes of Dance. She has choreographed for the College of DuPage dance program and had created musical theater numbers for high schools. Currently, she teaches at DanceOne in Downers Grove, IL. In 2010, after traveling to Sweden to study lindy hop and other jazz dances of the early 20th century, she co-founded the Stockholm Dance Company, which is dedicated to the performance, social practice, academic study and continuing development of vintage jazz dance forms.
