Russian Pointe is pleased to sponsor the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive 2010, a prestigious international program based in New York and Middlebury, CT. The partnership between Russian Pointe and the Summer Intensive began in the summer of 2009, when Russian Pointe fitting specialists traveled to NY and CT to fit elementary to advanced students. Russian Pointe was subsequently named the Official Shoe for the Summer Intensive, and has undertaken involvement with other aspects of the program, such as auditions, as well as returning for personal fittings in 2010. Russian Pointe's sponsorship is a show of support for Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive's efforts to provide young dancers from all over the world with superb classical technique instruction and well-rounded artistic training, as well as the rare opportunity to study and perform with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. The Summer Intensive is presented by the Russian American Foundation in New York, which brings Master Teachers to the U.S. from Russia's Bolshoi Ballet Academy.
